Aaaah Neil you made me remember a similar problem a friend had, she sent me a screenshot and said it doesn't show up very well... No I meant a photo e.g. on your phone/camera.

Has it got a surface protector on the screen? These are easier to damage than the screen but also easier to replace.A young friend damaged mine with a rubber tipped stylus pen. I checked the pen and the aluminium tube holding the rubber tip had a very sharp edge, now sanded smooth.0
