My daughter just received an email offering a 1 or 2 year fixed deal. Against her current variable capped rate where she is paying ~£92 per month they are offering 1 year fixed at ~101 p.m. or 2 years at ~£139. Is the current advice here still to remain on the fixed, capped rate?

Depends on the unit rates / standing charge being offered. Can you post those?2

Can you post those?Yes, it depends on the rates and any early exit fees. The 1 year at £101pm might be worth it if it's really only 10% over the cap; the 2 years at £139 sounds less attractive.N. I would certainly work out the annual cost at the expected usage for each - they wouldn't distort the monthlies would they !

I am an Eon-Next customer on a 1 year fixed deal (Next Online v7) that I was lucky to grab in September ending in October 2022. I cannot see any means of finding out what these new tariffs are via my online account.0

The £92 a month she is currently paying might be considerably more than her consumption i.e. instead of an annual bill of £1,104(12 x 92) her annual bill could be considerably lower. Therefore £1,212(12 x £101) could be considerably more than a 10% increase. On the other hand her present bill could be more than £1,104.So monthly bills are meaningless; as said above present and fixed kWh and daily charge are needed to make a comparison.3

On my a/c its the very first thing seen after logging in:Fix your energy prices for up to 2 years.
As you’re on a variable tariff you can switch to one of our fixed tariffs.with a get a quote button to 'press'.
But you can use this https://www.eonnext.com/tariffs if you want.
