Go with Threemo or stick with previous conveyancer dilemma?

Threemo conveyancing have quoted almost £500 less than a conveyancer I used previously (who did a good job but they are quite expensive). Threemo claim they operate on a 'no completion no fee' basis which my previous conveyancer does not offer. Given my previous conveyancer are quoting almost £2k (sale only) I am concerned I could get hit with substantial abortive costs in the event that the buyer pulls out late in the day (after most of the legal work has been done) and I have to find another buyer (fees could potentially double from £2k to £4k).

Does anyone have any experience of Threemo? Trustpilot reviews seem almost flawless but is the 'no completion no fee' promise genuine or are there strings attached? I would normally go with a firm I used previously but would Threemo be the better option given the £500 saving and 'no completion no fee' promise? It almost feels more risky going with the previous conveyancer given the risk of abortive costs. The sale is straight forward freehold and with no known complexities.

Thanks!

You need to read the termsof the no sale agreement. It will almost certainly exclude 'disbursement' eg searches they pay for on your behalf. It may also depend on why the sale falls through - you pullout? the other side pulls out.....
hen comparing quotes, check carefully they are like-for-like. Some conveyancers quote cheaply, but then add on extras for things like submitting the SDLT form, which a more expesive quote might include.
    Can't comment on Threemo.
A quick look at their website sugests they only do remortgages, not sales.
    What services do you provide?

We carry out the legal work associated with remortgaging a property in England and Wales often this is referred to as the “conveyancing” work.

Thanks for your input. I'm only selling a freehold property and so wouldn't be applying for any searches. The disbursements in my case (as the seller) are minimal e.g. archive fee, office copies, bank transfer fee. There are no other complexities as mentioned in my OP. If you click on 'Why choose Threemo' on their website it states:

"Our amazing team can help you with the following legal services:

    • Remortgages
    • Transfer of Equity
    • Buying and Selling
    • Declarations of Trust"
The reviews on Trustpilot do include clients who used them for sale only. You're right in that I would need to check the terms of business small print which may state the scenarios covered for the 'no completion no fee' promise. I have zero intention of pulling out and so my main concern is if the buyer pulls out late on. I could always ask Threemo to provide confirmation in writing that this scenario would be covered.
