Highview / DCB Legal Claim Form

Hi all,
Following on from a previous post in 2018 from DRP (Final Settlement Offer), the charge has now being taken over by DCB legal and we received the Claim Form through (Issue Date 25/11).
As before, the Registered Keeper didn't receive the original PCN due to moving house so is unsure what the original parking charge was for, just a date and location.
I've read through a few other threads of a similar nature and understand we need to follow through the advice in the newbie thread. The usual interest, court fees and legal costs have been added on to the original charge.
When it comes to putting up a defence, given they're not sure what it's for, what should be put here?
Also, I feel like I read somewhere that they are only able to request information from the DVLA twice at most. This claim form has come through to a third address. That might just be rubbish, but just thought I'd check.
Thanks for any advice

When it comes to putting up a defence, given they're not sure what it's for, what should be put here?Same as all the other Highview ones. There was a batch around May. Search, read and copy. Easy ones.
You would be better posting on that old thread (please) as we now have no context. Let this thread die and reply instead on your first thread, and tell us the date of issue of the claim form and if you've done the AOS online yet, or not.
No reply about that here. Old thread please.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You might want to ask a Board Guide to merge your threads or as a poor alternative, at lease post a link to it here. With a Claim Issue Date of 25th November, you have until Tuesday 14th December to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 29th December 2021 to file your Defence. That's nearly four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2a1d said:This claim form has come through to a third address. That might just be rubbish, but just thought I'd check.

You must take steps to ensure that the parking company and all their agents remove all their old addresses for you from their files by sending their Data Protection Officer an instruction to erase all old addresses.3 -
I reckon getting the threads merged by a board guide will help us all, and the OP.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you both for your messages.
Happy with linking to old discussion (link below) or just having the link here.

I will go read up on the Highview May threads.
Thanks to Keith for making all the dates clear, that's a really useful guide.
Regarding the requesting keeper's details multiple times, do they get into trouble for that? Or at least it being looked at unfavourably at them for doing so if it goes to court?
I guess the positive of them doing so is that we at least know about the court claim, which we wouldn't have done if it was sent to a previous address (moved over a year ago, had Royal Mail forwarding for a good chunk of that).1 -
They are supposed to look up keeper details each and every time , paying for the data every time , keepers can change , so no assumptions
Just follow the advice given , do not speculate , gather your facts and thoughts , do not miss the deadlines2 -
Please ask for the threads to be merged. One pm to @Soolin or @savvy and it's done.
No-one will have time or inclination to open two threads even with a link and we still have no context here. We will be able to give more bespoke help on a thread that covers it all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

One PM sent, so should be merged shortly.
Thanks for the help so far.
I've done the AoS.
Now preparing the SAR to Highview. Can this be done via e-mail to Nexus or should it always be done via letter?1 -
