Page repetition and difficulty sorting/arranging pages

I use the competition forum and I enter competitions by the end date. I.e. I sort the competitions by E: **/** in the first line of the post.

So yesterday I sorted everything for 'E: 01/12' and entered all the competitions ending today. Or I thought I did. I've gone to do tomorrows ending competitions today and have come across competitions that didn't appear at all yesterday in my sorting, and I have now missed entering.

Also, when I sort the pages I frequently see the same competitions repeated on multiple pages, or even whole pages repeated multiple times.
