The tariff shown to me if I log in to my account is higher than the tariff actually used for my bill. The bill used the "Next Flex Direct Debit" tariff.Reed0

The unit rates do not show whether or not a DD discount has been applied so without knowing the standard rates (i.e. those without a DD discount) it is not possible to tell whether or not such a discount has been applied. You can check the various NextFlex options for your region here:Type your postcode in and it'll show you the DD, receipt-of-bill and prepayment versions. You can then work out which one you're on.

Thank you Qriz B. Purely out out of idle curiosity, how did you find that page?
I clicked on "Energy" on the home page and selected "Our Tariffs" from the drop down menu but that did not lead me to the page you showed.

Apologies Qriz B. I have now found it. I hadn't scrolled down far enough.
Thanks.1 -

can someone with dad tariff post the kWh rates and standing chargesThey told me in an e-mailed reply that you can't change by that method. Either by phone or through your account.See my posted screenshot which shows the NextFlex DD rates.0 -
These are the tariff rates for all regions, showing receipt of bill or DD rates.

Based on my experience, if you elect to pay by DD you will be put on the DD tariff. I set up a DD way before December 3rd and am being billed on this tariff from the outset of being an Eon.next customer.Reed0

My DD was set before December 3rd too, actually had a payment taken Dec 1st. I haven't been put on the DD tariff yet.Reed_Richards said:Based on my experience, if you elect to pay by DD you will be put on the DD tariff. Mind I've not been formally billed yet. just some random figure pulled out of the air as it matches neither rate, exactly, on Customer reads but close to the non-DD rates (read on 28th 'debit calc' to 27th - and I thought Symbio were obtuse).
Still waiting for the formal bill/pdf (and no reply to my email re DD rates from e.on either, yet).0 -
Bingo, had an email reply from Eon.Next asking for a little more account info (address) duly supplied to them. Another email arrived back from them saying my tariff has been updated to the DD rate and it's also been backdated to 2nd October. A credit of over £8 applied to my account today. That's around the figure I estimate is the difference in DD and non DD tariff for the recent bill paid.👍Rodders53 said:
