on the boots side of the Riverside car park there isn’t a sign on the entrance when you enter the car park telling you the rules for parking whereas on the other side where B and M is there’s a big sign as you’re driving in so that shows differences between each sides of the car parks
There are no signs telling you the parking rules on the side, where boots, mamas and papas Argos in all the shops used to be
you can argue that you were in a queue to leave the car park that took you over the time limit as there’s always issues with traffic there
The large, orange and white sign doesn’t give you any parking restriction information. Apart from the times of the car park is open.
The cameras could’ve missed you leaving the site and then returning to site, so it count that as a longer period of time and you actually there for
I’ll keep adding anything I think of. When is your court date?5 -

Thank you that’s really helpful. My hearing is in a few weeks time!I already tried Savills about a year ago- they were no help and said they couldn’t do anything unfortunately.0

Odd. You saw they cancelled the one I linked? There were others too. Cancelled by Savills.
Anyway please use the wording I gave you about the lack of P entrance sign, and show us your latest draft WS and tell us your deadline. Can you get a photo of the white & orange framed sign that has no time limit?
If not, get a close-up on GSV.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That's great and clearly ISN'T a BPA entrance sign, DOESN'T communicate any time limit, freely offers parking between certain times for shoppers AND identifies the principal (offeror of the car park facility) as Savills.
The offer of parking is not from the PPC. There is no penalty clause and the ONLY terms are the opening hours.
(yes ... there are a few signs inside that say something else but no BPA mandatory entrance sign saying the site is managed by the PPC and warning drivers to 'read the t&cs on the signs inside the car park').
Thus there is no contract to be bound by - the PPC is merely an agent and the unfettered offer of parking at certain times comes directly from Savills.
Search the forum for Fairlie v Fenton and change the search to NEWEST. I wrote wording like this for a WS only last month.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
