Who did you actually buy it from and how did you pay for it?
Edited to add: when did the fault first appear? was the machine more than 6 months old then?

OP warranty from the manufacturer and subject to any terms and conditions they decide upon .The law your Consumer Rights against the vendor and nothing to do with any manufacturers warranty .See post above .1
