Anyone used Harts of Stur?

I've found some nicely priced Le creuset things on here, but I've never heard of them, and my (inexperienced) digging on their background isn't revealing much. Any idea if they're above board?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Doh - just wrote out a reply, but accidentally navigated away and lost it all
I found a few references to the site elsewhere:
"Harts Of Stur is one of U.K.`s largest online and in-store retailers of cookware. A family business based in the heart of the Blackmore Vale which has been trading for over 50 years. Stocking Stellar, Meyer, Judge and Le Creuset cookware. Specialist knives from Sabatier, type 301 design by F.A.Porshe and Kyocera ceramic knives. Hardwood kitchen trolleys from T&G and Eddingtons. All at discount prices an free U.K. mainland delivery."
Sounds decent enough - if you have a go let us know how you get on!
Btw - a lot of places mark down their le creuset stuff in the January sales - I got a casserole dish half price last year from Steamer Trading Cook Shop (http://www.steamer.co.uk) tho I think you might have to go into the shop to get the special deals...:money: I heart Martin! :money:0 -
I think there are some items reduced on Amazon too.0

Thanks, both. This place was cheaper than amazon's deal. I rang the number in the end, and somebody answered it and sounded very pro, so I've gone for it. They also said if it was on the site it meant it was in stock and should be with me Friday or Monday. Fingers crossed...Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

I know its a while since you posted your enquiry, but I thought I'd post a reply here just in case anyone else needed a bit of feedback on them.
My wife and I have used them twice now, both times for BIG purchases of Le Creuset pan sets. (One was a wedding present and one was a present for us...) The service was brilliant, the delivery uncannily fast and the value for money better than anywhere else we could find. No hesitation in recommending them to anyone :T0 -
I have purchased Stella brand items in the past - they can beat or match best discount prices and postage is free.
Always good quality stock - recommended.0 -
I have used this company for Le Crueset in the recent past and found them to have very good service and also good prices!0

Never shopped there myself but have friends who live about 4 doors down! Has a huge shop and has been there for years. There's quite a big-posh-country-estate type of crowd in the area, so a place like that which wasn't up to scratch wouldn't survive.0

I know it's a little late to reply to the original posting! But for anyone who is thinking of buying from Harts - they are excellent. I have never bought from them online as I am lucky enough to live 5 miles down the road and visit the shop regularly! They are a family run business based in Sturminster Newton in Dorset. They have a country style department store, with Joules clothing, Moshulu shoes, camping equipment all mixed in amongst the top of the range kitchen equipment, green wellies and farmer's overalls. Their customer service and product knowledge is second to none. We had our wedding list with them four years ago because of the excellent cookware deals and several of our friends bought from them, either over the internet or by phone.
I cannot recommend them highly enough and they are well worth a visit if you are in the area - I promise, you won't go home empty handed!0 -

Just to echo porlock's post:
I live a few villages away from Hart's and they're really well-regarded in the local area - regularly advertise in the local weekly advertiser magazine and I've been to their shop a few times. They cater to the well-to-do country customer. (Stur = Sturminster Newton)
They're definitely a reliable outlet!0
