And why the salutation 'To Whom It May Concern'?
That's the sort of thing you put on a notice stuck on a lamppost.
Should've been Dear Sirs.
And to end a formal letter to a Court with 'Kind Regards'... what is the world coming to?2 -
Oh well. Is what it is. Life goes on.

You do realise, don't you, that the advice being given is for your benefit? You might not get so lucky with the next judge, who might be a stickler for procedure. And/or the claimant's legal might raise this as a procedural point and ask to rule out your emailed "WS" as you hadn't sent it to them nor signed it off with a statement of truth.Fighter1986 said:Oh well. As was asked before ... what is your date for submitting WS and evidence? (It will be on paperwork you've received from the court). You might not yet be late.Jenni x2 -

If you've sent that email, it is not a WS (which has a set format and statement if truth and mist be accompanied by your evidence and copied to the other side as well).Fighter1986 said:Oh well. Is what it is. Life goes on.

So, as things stand for this second case, you still haven't complied with the Order yet, and we still don't know your deadline to do so. A different Judge could disregard your entire defence on the day and disallow you from giving any witness evidence at all at the hearing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It matters such as this it is exeduent to follow procedures, a freshly spanked and brandied up judge could be a bit choleric. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
