Coxy11 - Mr F was splattered on by a seagull on Saturday - had to wear the evidence until we got home. Very hard to remove marks.
What time of year is it? Oh yes - nativity costumes! I have been making a head wrap and apron today for Dgd plus I altered an existing costume which had a fur jacket attached. Took me ages to unpick the overlocking and seams - it was attached at the sides/shoulders and sleeves - then of course I had to sew it back together. I have been waiting for Ds to bring the costume here - the dress rehearsal is on Friday - he turned up with it yesterday afternoon.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Afternoon everyone
I too remember Blue Peter's advent crown.
One Christmas my mam made me a house we saw on Blue Peter for my Pippa dolls - they were smaller than Barbie. It had carpet, wallpaper and a plastic grand piano. Also a table and chairs somehow made from a plastic bottle. My twin brother had a tent made from a coat hanger and material - for his action man. I have a really bad memory but can vividly remember these toys.
Well our water went off again about 10am - if it had waited 5 minutes my washing would have been finished. Bottled water has been distributed so I'll be fine.
Had a nice morning getting some Christmas bits and came home and pottered about. A friend of DDs has stacked the fence panels up for me so they're not lying over the front garden - he also straightened the shed up a bit and jammed the doors together for me. I've reported all the jobs to the housing association - I imagine they will have a huge list.
Tesco shopping which was re-ordered from Saturday has been delivered and put away.
Another day off for me tomorrow as there's still no water at school...might actually get some presents wrapped up!
Going to get washed up with a small amount of water11 -

Late post from me today. Had a rare day off work today so a bit of a lie-in and then a trip to Costco for some bulk-buy shopping. Got all the boring stuff as well as some clothes for me and some fancy biscuits for Xmas which I've squirreled away. Snow was only minimal here, no more than a dusting and had gone by the time i got back. Not a fan of snow so it can stay away hopefully8
