£5.79 spent as apparently the lack of baked beans and potatoes is not acceptable. He came back with a bag of fresh pasta too (which we had with a simple sauce, with leftovers for lunch today)Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Another £34.48 spent. That includes a drink with my dad and brother and coffee in Balham while waiting for the train so I'm pleasantly surprised it's not more. I also bought bread, brie, spaghetti, tinned sardines, a choc croissant for this morning's breakfast, tuna, pesto, toilet rolls, pan scourers, milk and coffee. That's between Sainsbys and Ldl and leaves £98.97 left for the month.
I still haven't spent my now £10 in nectar points. I keep forgetting I have them.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining

Have started the list for this week's week's shop, will include any Christmas items that will keep. I finish work on Thursday until the 4th so want to make sure there's lots of lovely food to keep me company

£111.73/£300.
£188.27 left.
We spent last night wrapping the gifts we have already for people which is why I didn't update last night. I used fabric to wrap, while the OH used gift wrap that was bought years ago very cheaply in the after Christmas sales.
£137.43/£300.
£162.57 left.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy5 -
I have so many spends to update on! I've been ill for the last week, so we missed our 2 meals out, which has meant more spending on the grocery budget.
£2.97 in asda on coconut cream, a pack of ice creams, 4 mini flatbreads (YS), a custard tart (YS) and some katsu chicken pieces (YS).
£3.83 in tesco on thai crackers, prawn crackers, hoisin sauce and a pack of mozzarella with pesto (YS).
£5.02 in aldi on a thai red curry meal kit, dry noodles, soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, mushrooms and cashews.
Big shop in aldi yesterday, spent £30.64 on a bottle of wine, 6 litres fizzy juice, 1 litre juice, deodorant, mouthwash, 6 pints of milk, hash browns, coconut milk, 4 ice cream sticks, pasta ready meal, halloumi burgers, chips, chicken slices, mozzarella, cheese truckle, pack of cookies, coleslaw, 2 bags of rice, chorizo, a pineapple, 6 eggs, bag of salad leaves and 14 bags of crisps.
Then went to asda to buy the bits we couldn't get in aldi and spent £12.15 on 8 litres fizzy drink, pizza pockets, a pasty, 8 vegetarian sausages and a loaf of bread.
Still couldn't get a couple of bits I wanted in asda so popped into sainsburys this evening and of course ended up with lots of YS things. £7.78 on a caramel dessert (YS), ready meal thai curry (YS), beef Wellington sandwich (YS), sweet potato katsu ready meal (YS), 2 chargrilled chicken slices (YS), cheese and onion dip (YS), vegan "chicken" pie (YS), risotto rice and parmesan style vegetarian cheese.
That all brings us to £202.54/£200. So already over and still 1 more week to go.5 -
I've just put together all my receipts and the total for the month so far is £104.49/£253.05. I've just done a large Tesco order which is coming tomorrow so will update when that comes which may take me over my budget. I am a bit annoyed with myself but equally I am not doing much about it, I have ordered some lovely chocolates for me and DH to sit and enjoy when we are alone which does not happen very often these days. I've only just started budgeting so Christmas this year did not have a pot so the money has had to come from somewhere which is why the Tesco order will be bigger than I thought, we have cut right back but somethings are needed.
£104.49/£253.05

This weeks fruit/veg box has been paid for at £25.75. It’s extravagant, but genuinely makes me happy, the quality is brilliant and is an easy way to make sure I’m eating a variety (otherwise I tend to default to the same few bits of veg/fruit).
