Holiday Extras Vouchers - be careful

Earlier this year I booked airport parking at East Midlands airport for a date range at the end of March 2022, through Holiday Extras. Recently I got an email from them offering the same car park for the same dates at a reduced price. Naturally, I cancelled the original booking and got a credit voucher which I used to pay for the new booking. I had expected to get a refund for the amount left on the voucher, but couldn't find any way on their website to set this up.
So I used their Chat service. The operator indicated that a refund was not possible under their terms and conditions. It would appear that if you've part-used one of their credit vouchers you forfeit the right to their much-publicised free refunds. It's apparently in the small print. The voucher is viable for two years however.
So I'm just letting you know - Holiday Extras - Caveat Emptor. It is far better for the customer to
1. Cancel the original booking.
2. Get a refund for the full amount.
3. THEN make the new booking.
As a customer, I think their voucher system and "free refund" claims are a bit naughty.
