PAYGO mobile - best value?

Hello, I like a few others here have a very low use mobile - not likely to change, other than buying a bundle a couple of times a year when I go away.
I have just been informed by the Phone Co-op that they are stopping their PAYGO service.
I have searched on here and found 1p mobile & RWG recommended. Either would suit me but before I go to the trouble of getting a PAC & porting, I'd like to know people's experience of their service.
Also (finger in the wind) are they likely to stop PAYGO?
I've had excellent experience of Phone Co-op, but it seems stupid to throw away £5-6 a month (their new deal would be £6.50 a month)
Many thanks in advance

Is mobile signal an issue to you? May be relevant that both Co-op mobile and RWG use EE as their network.
Both RWG and 1p working fine with no issues here.
In case anyone else is with Co-op, that £6.50/mth deal is calls/texts only - no data. 3GB/mth + calls/txt for £10. Not a great deal.1 -
Thank you for highlighting the issue - for many reasons I spend most of my time in my immediate area, where neither Vodaphone nor EE work reliably. When I do go out into the wider world, I don't especially want to have cosy family chats or conduct business sitting in the car or on the grass somewhere!
My DH has an old phone where we have PAYGO from Vodaphone - a historical contract that they kindly keep for us dinosaurs, but that phone is used even less.
When I go away I buy a bundle that includes dat;, but for everyday, I almost never use data on my phone as I have no reason to. However, it is a good point. At present, if I suddenly need to look something up whilst out, I simply switch on mobile data and the cost is taken off my credit.
We have a decent deal from BT for our landline, broadband (and some TV) which makes up 99% of our electronic communication, but their mobile deal costs too much.
My question relates more to the reliability of customer service - do they respond well if you contact them with an issue?
We are actually fairly tech savvy - but I am aware that many on these PAYGO deals aren't.
