I have a day off - DS3 messaged to say that Beloved is still ill (he told me to stay away from her yesterday after we'd been in contact). So toast, moisturise (should probably put clothes on) and work out what I can usefully do here, next - and fun must have some fun.
Post from DS1. No surer sign that my lack of sleep is showing - Loki (my grandpuppy) brings me one of his bears (darling d-i-l spent most of lockdown crocheting/ knitting toys including baby Yoda and mini Loki) not to play with but puts it in my lap and then sits beside me.
Forgot to be grateful (extra) - during one of my bench hopping rests a Pied Wagtail hopped around in front of me, coming nearer and nearer until someone walking past scared it.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -
Evening turtles. NSD today, spending the day with my parents. Went out for lunch which sadly devolved into a bit of an argument between them and now my mum isn't talking to anyone... sometimes wonder who the child is and who the parent is. Anyway, I have to try and keep the peace and stay positive until I can get the train home tomorrow.
I handed my notice in today though so that's a big positive! Happy Friday turtles!Save £2,400 tuition fees - £2,321.04 as of 08/24

Still very tired but have done some nice things, including wrapping some presents. Also gathering tins from various places. Pulled cans of beans (borlotti, cannelini etc) and onion soup from mum's cupboard and then filled the space with more of the things she will eat. Filled up another cupboard with more tinned fruit and pulled out the condensed milk she made me hunt for at the beginning of the pandemic (she thinks food shortages means wartime conditions). I'm not a fudge lover but think that's what I'll end up doing - it's ood so can't give it to the food bank. Will have to work out how long it takes to make fudge and what else I could productively do with that time.
Mum has done as asked and written a shopping list, I supplied more than half from the things I'd already bought (3 medical).
Grateful for some down time, using things from the freezer, a couple of good movies. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -

Thank goodness it's Friday!
Been a tricky day for my pupil today, which made things tricky for me too. On a plus side, went shopping with mum afterwards, used the £10 off £40 L1dl coupon (in a daily paper until Sun) to buy sausages & bacon to make plenty of pigs in blankets on sprout day, then got £6 off £40 in Tosco. Put our shopping together, so we had enough spent to be able to use it. Had presents to open which had been delivered. After tea i put the shopping away, sorted finances, then did some hand sewing.
Grateful for school Xmas dinner, able to support a colleague going through a difficult time, getting money off our shoppingUse it up, wear it out

Hi guys
Today was my day off and I treated OH to breakfast out at our favourite garden centre/ gift shop. I wanted a couple of presents from there, but only found one so finished my Xmas present shopping in town this afternoon. For once I had a day off that wasn’t raining and blowing a gale.
Hopefully I should get my Xmas/new year rota tomorrow so I can work out who we can visit and when. It’s a bit annoying when you can’t plan ahead.
on the up side I’ve got a 4 hour shift tomorrow and then I’m off until Tuesday.
Today I’ve been grateful for finishing my present shopping, for DS2 asking for a list of what I want him to buy towards the Xmas day meal and for the rain finally stopping ( it was a bit chilly but I can live with that )
Keep well and warm everyone
Night night

Evening turtles
Achieved a NSD yesterday, 2nd one this month. Had a lovely day, went to see DD2 at her boyfr's family. DD2 and boyfr took me out for a meal and then to a festive lights outdoor thing, weather was dry and we walked round for an hour, had a hot choc then went home. Today took DD2 back to uni and topped her up with a food shop plus a few supplies for me. Got home at 6, unpacked and having an easy tea and watching TV.
Gratitudes - DD1 lending me her coat so i didn't freeze at the festive lights! DD2's boyfr's family who are always so welcoming and kind to DD2; free pastries from the aforementioned family
