Letter before Claim from Gladstones

  • All of this is in post #2 of NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST, so start there.
As per post #2 , I'm supposed to be asking for SAR from the PPC - however I can't seem to find any details of who to email on their privacy page https://www.uk-carparkmanagement.co.uk/privacy ? Should I email the solicitor instead and copy the PPC with their info@ email address?
  • Looks like a crap company (in fact both the PPC & Gladstones)  with a crap website and links that don't go anywhere.

I wouldn't bother sending to Gladstones they have other more pressing issues (ha ha!) just send your SAR request to the only email address you can find - make sure you cc yourself as proof of sending in case you don't get an automated acknowledgment.

Make sure you put Attention Data Protection Officer in bold at the top or in the subject line - they are legally obligated to have one - and then wait the 30 days for a reply - if you don't get one file a complaint with the ICO.

Apart from that, follow the other excellent advice in the NEWBIES thread.

    dpo@uk-cpm.com
and here is the privacy page - make sure it is the correct UK Car Park Management

Please delete that,  the whole thread is likely to be removed if Gladstones complain.

DPD, please review your posts on this thread.
Two of them have links that 'someone' might find objectionable.

Keith, I have considered this, and imo posting these links benefits the people who come here,  and are fully in the spirt of moneysaving.  I fear that it is others who rock the boat.

Easier to send a PM to the offending poster - that way the Forum police are not alerted! For a moment I thought it was me that had posted the offending post  :D
