I have just been checking my accounts at the Halifax, via their app, and there is an advert for the Halifax Cashback credit card, which seems similar to the one offered by Lloyds Bank:

Halifax have updated their website with information on the new Halifax Cashback credit card.

Be interesting if I could convert my very old Halifax cashback card (0.25% full stop) to this one, will have to ask them. Already have the Lloyds one and is a nice earner.
Oldest card I have, getting on for 22 years now, be a shame if I had to close it to get the bonus cashback0 -

I already have an All in One Credit Card with the Halifax. When my application was accepted last night, it did mention I could transfer some of the credit limit from my existing credit card to my new one if needed to but I would have to get in touch by telephone.
It might be worthwhile you getting in touch to see if they could convert your old cashback card? I used to have one too but I cancelled it a few years ago.0 -

The problem will be if the new bonus £20 doesn't count as not a new customer in which case there is little point in taking it out

I can’t see anything in the conditions which will prevent the £20 cashback offer if you’re already a customer. I might struggle to spend £1,000 within 90 days though 🤔
Earn £20 cashback if you spend £1,000 within 90 days of account opening and adhere to the below conditions:
- You must make £1,000 of purchases within 90 days of account opening to qualify for the cashback offer.
- You will lose any promotional offers if you do not make your minimum payment on time, or you go over your credit limit.
- The £20 cashback offer is only payable once per credit card account and will be added to your cashback balance within 12 days of your promotional offer expiry date, as long as the account is still open. The £20 cashback will appear within the cashback balance on your monthly statement. Cashback earnt will be applied to your credit card account in January every year.
- Any purchase refunds, credit adjustments or fraudulent transactions will be deducted from your total spend for the purposes of determining whether you have met the required spend value for the above promotional offer.

Question would be whether they count it as a new card if you simply change the card, or if you have to cancel it first.
I think the £1000 won't be too difficult if planned in advance so won't apply now.1 -
When my Lloyds credit card was converted (by them, not me) from Avios to the new Cashback card, whcih also had a £20 cashback bonus, I wasn't eleigible for that bonus.0

When I logged into my account today the first message was about whether I wanted a second credit card, the Cashback card. It also appeared as a suggestion when I looked at the list of my accounts and I decided to click for more information.
The immediate online response was that I couldn't have it and my current Halifax credit card at the same time. So why try to sell it to me as a second credit card?1 -

My Halifax Cashback Credit Card arrived today.
The account details are printed on the back of the card, which seems to be the trend nowadays? 🤷🏻♂️
