1pMobile - Change of Terms

Hiya,
Just to let you know, 1pMobile informed me that I will be subject to a minimum charge of £2.50 per 30 day period.
My usage is currently low, so they took £2.48 out of my balance. Other times I can easily rack up over £2.50.

I just want a mobile number that is not going to close down on me because I've not used it as much as they want me to.
So I am happy with this arrangement. I have set up an auto top up for £10 that kicks in when my balance goes below £3.00.

I reckon this arrangement would suit a lot of low users who don't want a contract - at a cost of £2.50 per 30 day period or £30 per year.
Also I can just set this up and forget about it - until the contract changes again - LOL.

You would spend less switching to RWG (free or 1 £ plan month) or Asda mobile (1 chargeable use each 6 months).

Problem with Asda is that they cut you off if you don't use the SIM. At least with 1p mobile you never get cut off if you do as above, albeit at a cost of £30 a year.

For some reason the change only applies to customers who signed up before 1/1/2021

Sooner or later they'll apply it to 2021 and later customers after they've joined, seems like. 

That way they don't scare off new customers. I was considering leaving 3 PAYG for 1p but not now

As well as RWG there is 3 data reward supposedly still on the 321 with min top up £2.

For the low data user there was sky mobile 100MB plan(unlimited calls & text) that is £0pm with the nokia 105 phone @ £42 up front or spread over 3years.
