You're doing well and achieving so much.
Can you deactivate your cards until you find them? I can put a stop on all mine in their apps. Just set a limit on how many days you'll spend looking for them before reporting as lost and requesting replacements.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Hi MF - just done a temp freeze on the B one. I can't access the other two - so nothing I can do about them.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Not a HP fan any more really, loved the books when they came out though.
Expelliarmus would come in handy now when trying to get rid of clutter 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe a reframe is in order when thinking about where you live? What you want to do with your time first, then what the house looks like3 -
Hope the sore throat is easing. Well done on the reduced energy use."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Ugh to the sore throat still lingering SH - I've got the beginnings of one here so suspect I may be getting MrEH's cold - I'd sooner avoid it though so I'm telling it to go away, it's not welcome!
(That actually does sometimes work for me!)
Interesting thinking from Welshmansdaughter on the reframing thing - I'd also suggest trying to drill down into how a move would improve life - what things are a problem now that you'd expect that moving would fix - as that can help to be realistic about whether those issues would magically be fixed, or whether they might in fact travel with you.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks WD, EH and Jwil
Felt a bit better today and made up a little time. I recently found a really pretty cowl necked long jumper I bought a few years ago and that's been helping to keep me warm. Cleaner has also been today and make everywhere 'better'. She's also found some stuff I'd lost so that's good too. I'm also enjoying having a streaming subscription again Disn'y.
£25 went to savings today. Had some of the leftover Chinese with oven chips today. DD ignored the main meal parts and just had rice and chips. Cost per meal has dropped somewhat. I'm hoping to get another portion out of it tomorrow. I need to do a grocery order but keep it real as struggling to motivate myself to cook from scratch currently. I also need to replace an electric toothbrush I left behind at the hotel I went to recently.
Hope you are all doing well.

EH hope you feel better soon.
On the reframing thing WD and EH - my house is great for art space and general space full stop which is hard to beat elsewhere. Other stressors as you say could travel with me in which case I'd be better off not having the expense of moving - unless I dramatically downsize which doesn't feel likely at this point. I just find it frustrating how misleading EA photos can be...
MF has also been encouraging me to rethink my current garden design which is quite formal in parts (now restored) as it was formally designed prior to our purchase of the house. I can plant more flowering plants and veg in the borders as well as the veg section which will meet some of my garden and food growing aspirations. It will be great if we can get a cheap replacement for the pond/water feature recirculating pump and get that running again. I also still need to sort out external electric sockets... and buy a new outdoor light.

Well done for squirrelling away money.
There's loads of things you can do with your garden. From pockets each having a different style meeting various moods, to proper country cottage with a growing section.

Also if you moved to a house with a bigger garden it will take a lot more time and effort to maintain it.

Glad you are gradually feeling better. Don't get too cold indoors though.
you are so artistic and good with colour that I think you could create some amazing zones in your garden which you could gradually do. A mix of planting and accessorising.
have you had a chance to plant up some bulbs ready for some Soring colour?3
