Good luck with the P1p. It takes a while, we are still waiting for confirmation of our youngest's renewal. But at least they are still paying while they decide

This week sounds like it's been challenging, and hope you get some time to recharge over the weekend. Glad the clothes are helping though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

The form is all done. I'm about to go and post it for her and hopefully that will then help to ease some of the stress. Will send recorded delivery.
I may nip into work later.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well today was a messy day. I went to the PO for DD to post her form - I also went to two shops trying to get something she needed. I started work at gone 10.30! I then had to nip into work to print. On the way back I went back to the chemist for her and got the other thing she needed - before then restarting work. I finished the week owing even more time - but the journey on Sunday will make up for some of it.
I decided practicing self-care looks like an overnight stay Sunday night as otherwise I'd have to be up between 5 and 6 Monday and that just isn't a good plan for me - with the medication I'm on etc. I then thought as a good MSE person I should ask work to pay which set the cat among the pigeons. No decision yet but I'm hopeful. My counsellor would be proud of me asking for what I need and not expecting others to guess - or just keeping quiet out of false pride. It seems daft for me to spend £45 on a counselling session but begrudge spending upto £70 on an overnight stay that will make my whole week run so much more smoothly and help me function at this work event.
I've sent a message this morning to the friend I'm supposed to be seeing tomorrow. She's not got back to me yet. While it will be disappointing if she cancels - it would save me having to spend the day cleaning and tidying tomorrow! I feel absolutely exhausted. My legs feel rather like jelly I am so tired. Thank God literally it's the weekend.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Beanie. Took the plunge booked just over £60 and about 4 miles from where I have to be so happy with that. I may see if I can get to an NT property nearby on Sunday afternoon.
I am a little worried as neither me or DD remember seeing the cat today. I've texted a neighbour but not heard back. Hope it's okay.
My new boots arrived and they fit perfectly so I've sprayed them with protective spray. Very happy with that purchase.
Just dropped DD at the gym. I get about 20 mins to eat my tea - then need to go and collect her. Taxi!!!! Only the knowledge I did similar to my parents / they insured me on their car after I passed is keeping me gracious...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hope cat re-appears soon.
Try and get some rest this weekend. Great idea to stay over on Sunday night - you can be much more leisurely on Monday morning and enjoy a breakfast that's been prepared by someone else. I hope work cover the cost of the hotel.
