Could it be in part anterior pelvic tilt? That can affect lower back, hip and leg movement.

It's all sounding good and everything is coming together.

Thanks jwil and @Baileys_Babe
I think you're right. If I fix certain things around the house and garden it can only help it's value - so yes investment in a different form.
@WelshmansDaughter
I think you hit the nail on the head. I have had a tilted pelvis for the last 20 years at least. I didn't know it was fixable...
Thanks MF. This tradesman is a long term friend so yes - should stick around.
I posted some photos of my son's graduation on FB and an old friend has been in touch and we've arranged to meet up which is lovely. I always liked her but she fell out with me a few years ago and I didn't know how to resolve it. So I now have 2 meet ups planned for next week which should be lovely.
Just rested today so far - but really need to crack on and do some more work on my room.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

According to YouTube it is 🤷
Although I think you might need a physio rather than a chiropractor for that3 -

Thanks WD, Beanie, Jwil and GAP
I can get some free physio through work - perhaps 4 sessions - but she knew about the weird bit in my spine - and didn't say she could fix it. I'm not very good at visualising what people want me to do (Physio) - which is why I tried the balance class instead (I need to go back - missed about a month at this point). I mainly got the previous physio to massage the injured areas to loosen them up. Will see what chiropractor says. I may be able to get follow on physio if needed on the health scheme - need to look at the rules again.
Had a really restful morning - and then have done some painting off and on today - with lots of long breaks. My walls are turning white. Just part of a cornice to do and some touching up and then hopefully the walls are done. Then comes the bit I detest - painting the woodwork. It's better now I've moved to less smelly paint following earlier recommendations from here - but I am a messy painter - and some how doing the woodwork I am more at risk of painting the carpet etc than when using emulsion - which at least wipes clean if you get it quickly enough with a wet cloth. (Yes I have plastic sheeting down - and will use masking tape - but I still often paint unintended areas). My cleaner laughed that I'd decided to decorate my bedroom when it was so warm - but I have to say - it is convenient as due the heat - it dries so much quicker. I was sweating cobs at one point today though.
I'm not doing the ceiling as it's too big a job but I may try and fill (or get DD to) a couple of places where the stud above has broken through. Tomorrow I want to do the woodwork by the bed - so that I can then put my chest of drawers back where it belongs. I might try and do just that corner tonight. I doubt that we'll move the bed though as it's so heavy. We'd have to take the mattress off just to move it at all. I'm 'lucky' enough to have 6 doors in my bedroom - entrance, en-suite and 4 wardrobe doors - but that feels overwhelming to paint. I'll just have to break it into small chunks. I don't know whether I can persuade DD to help further - and I'm not sure I trust her with woodwork. I might see if she'll paint my future art room walls once I've finished this one - and moved things back where they belong. Still need to massively declutter.
Grateful that I had all the painting supplies I needed already so not had to buy anything new for that. Already the room feels calmer - and that's a combination of the new paint, curtains and blinds - but also all the clutter we took out of the room. I need to make sure I don't bring it back in - and either find places for stuff or let it go (sale / free / dispose).
Dropping DD off clubbing again tonight.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Would your friend paint the woodwork, it's worth asking. Alternatively, save up cereal boxes and tuck them between the carpet and skirting, overlapping on the joins.

Thanks MF. My friend would consider painting if he had no other work but it's his least fave job.
DD cancelled clubbing - so we went and got a TGTG carvery instead. Happy days.
