Love the art work SH. The colour combination and the words running through the design - beautiful.

Glad you are clear now.  Love the curtains!

I think your artwork would be great on fabrics/clothes :)

    Curtains are gorgeous!

Years ago there was a way of printing onto special paper and then ironing it on to clothes. It's still possible to buy the transfers and clothes with them done like it, I just don't know what it's called aside from iron on transfers; the bubble, 3tsy and bay sell them.

If you find out how to do it, walk around in your own art, build up word of mouth customers, local group sales and then look at paid sites when there's some capital behind you.
I think there's a few 3tsy etc artists doing similar onto trainers and other shoes as well...

@savingholmes not yet quite up to date but have just reached the 2 red lines!!  Hope you don't feel too poorly; as you say, being fully vaxed can only help.  You will bounce back, you are doing brilliantly.   Love Humdinger xx

Thanks MF. Beanie, HSL, @Humdinger1 , jwil, welshmansdaughter

I am feeling much healthier today. I am trying to work on my health for obvious reasons. Been taking vit D again this week. Did some walking around shops today - it's a start. Yesterday I replied to my GP and opted in to having a blood test as part of a well woman type review. A follow up appointment is also booked in. It was good timing as it was something I was trying to motivate myself to ask for. I also need to sort out my meds review which is overdue.

I get paid towards the end of next week and should get my backpay. Feels like I started spending it early! I took one thing back to the shop today - but then re-spent more than the refund - although it was all justifiable - it always is ;) I can justify almost anything... I need to improve - I seem to have turned the spending tap on - need to turn it back off. I bought a lovely strawberry tart from MnS - it was lush.

I also investigated flooring options. The carpet in my bedroom, my new art room to be and the hall, stairs and landing is original to the house. We moved in about '06 - I'd love to change it. I have engineered wood floors that we had put in the lounge, study, hallway and downstairs loo and it's lovely. I would love similar in the rest of the house. Because of that - even if I look at cheap/cheaper vinyl options or laminate or carpet instead - none of it looks right. I have expensive tastes! I'm still in love with my floor downstairs though... The guy at CrptRight said he could do me a deal if my budget was too tight.... Good to know there's room for negotiation. Haggle people, haggle! Just window shopping today though.

Sorting my stairs is a safety thing rather than a nice to have. I need to get quotes to get the stairs fixed. I need to ask friends / neighbours for recommendations. So naturally not done anything about that!! If my stairs can't be fixed - I might need a new set which would be ultra expensive. I need to get that job priced up before I can consider anything else.

I got sent an email this week saying if I don't fill in a form for my company they'll strike me off. I need to do it myself really although the net result will be the same. Will try and make myself do it tomorrow. I think they charge £10 for the privilege.

Thanks all for the encouragement on my art - means a lot.

I'd have a look and see if there are any independents nearby for flooring.  My folks were going to use CR, but got completely messed around by them.  They went with a local independent and got much better quality carpet (and service!) for the same price.
