That article sounds interesting can you share?
I looked this morning but couldn't find it again. It's things like being able to stand on one leg with hands by side

    Doing 40 push ups

Being able to climb 4 flights of stairs unaided and without stopping for breath

Being able to sit cross legged (I can't have a problem with hips)

Speed of walking - so a mile in 15-18 minutes

Being able to get up from a cross legged position without using anything or any part of your body to lean

I thought it was in the daily wail

Only one I can do is sit cross legged!
Am good at falling though! Fact.

Just catching up...sorry to read about your loss and your brother’s comments.  Will the PIP decision be quite prompt? Love the “ Life is a rollercoaster” design.

That year has flown by. It’s amazing how much you have achieved in that time.
The PIP decision is likely to take another 7 weeks - and that's if I don't have to appeal. If I get it - it's backdated to mid Feb though so I would get a chunk of £.

The year has flown. I keep reminding remind myself of all the positives that have come my way that I could never have predicted. Gift of £4K. Other small gifts. Getting out of debt. Sales of random stuff. Having an EF. Getting my regrade - and it being backdated to December - so getting backpay there too and a further increment towards Xmas. DD and DS getting jobs in that time and no longer being official dependents. DS moving out. The balance class. More recently the occasional swim. Start of new friendship circle of neighbour, someone from the gym and a previous writing instructor. Having £ for trips and time away. I've had enquiries about my art but not translated into sales yet but it gives me hope - I even had one last Friday. My MH improved significantly - although still struggle. Started weight loss journey.

Grateful that I've paid £4.5K off the mortgage now. My work DB pension is still growing. Should now be worth £10.5K per year - plus have another DB at £3.8K plus only 3 more years needed for full state pension entitlement when I'm old enough. I am worried about what the gov are doing on pension age. It looks like I may get stung by the changes planned for 2037-39. I think it may only be a month or two difference but still really irritating. It matters because my current DB pension is tied to it...

    Thanks Mark too.
Lots & lots of fantastic positives here.
