Echoing others by saying well done on getting both forms done - as you say 2 very different sets of criteria to meet.I agree about the cost of holiday cottages - I was looking on air b n B recently and the cost per night for an apartment by the sea was more than I'd pay for a luxury hotel. That said the cottage in whitstable we went to at new year was quite good value and very cosy.Hope you are having a restful weekend.5

I submitted my latest gas reading. Looks like I used more heating in the last month - need to improve on that. I filled up with fuel yesterday. Scary prices. I would have waited until payday but given the price is going up daily I didn't. DD still doesn't know how she's getting to work Monday and her work laptop has died so she can't work from home... Ah well. She's gone for a meal and is now out clubbing. Hopefully it's too soon to bring covid home again and she stays safe.
I've spent most of today making art so that's really enjoyable. Painting birds and fish as well as letting paint colours bleed into each other, adding salt, using clingfilm - just trying to see all the different effects I can make.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Don't forget to submit readings again at the end of this month, eak out the last of the better prices.
If you've a timer, can you set on / offs like I've done with the heating.
Embrace the art, keep experimenting and most of all enjoy it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -
@savingholmes - I've been very impressed at all the hard work you've been putting into the PIP application. I often read about individuals whose lives have been impacted by their health/disabilities etc. a lot for work and I don't think I've ever read an example so eloquently put. It's a real eye opener in terms of giving me a renewed sense of professional empathy, so thank you
It can be all too easy to lose that when literally all you read are complaints and records about distressing life circumstances!

Thanks Blackcats, edinburgher and MF
I just hope I get somewhere with the PIP as otherwise I shared a lot of really personal info for nothing!!
MF - will definitely do that on the readings.
I don't know if DD came home last night and don't want to wake her by checking. I need to go ahead and order the blackout - stuff - using the Am voucher I got via £co. Then hopefully I will start sleeping better too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Form acknowledged as received.
I started with a streaming cold Saturday. Got worse yesterday and went back to bed for a bit. Got a same day food delivery. Today off sick. Temp of 38+. Ordered a PCR for tomorrow. DD can't get it again yet but was in contact with 4 who had it in the last week.
Thankfully her work picked her up today.
Will see how things go.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
