Thanks @beanielou and @badmemory I really hope these tablets work as I am scared I'll end up with heart problems / stroke / diabetes if I don't make serious change. I'm also fed up of feeling constantly exhausted and out of breath. My Dad was on angina meds by my age and I weigh more now than he did then. He was brought up with smoking in the house though which I wasn't. It's probably the main thing in my favour. I do eat a lot of fruit and veg - I just eat too much junk as well - and too much full stop. Hopefully this will help me get that under control. I used to be so skinny my bones stuck out... I do sometimes wonder whether my problems with over-eating now - are still tied back to feeling food was scarce as a kid.
Changing the subject - I may try and fill up tomorrow before fuel prices get any higher!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Adorable picture, and food scarcity is very likely connected xxx5

Your painting is lovely. My favourite piece of art I own is of a robin, i love him.
Good luck with the tablets. I think you’re very brave but I did anyway, before that.Debt Jan 2017 = £42kMay 2022 = £15k6 -
I hope the meds work, I'll be interested in how you get on. I've heard about those dodgy side effects too.

Good luck with the meds and if you struggle with junk food temptation, limit what you have at home and make your own healthier version.
I think you have to chase the website for the cashback as it's them offering it to switch via them.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

I have to go further than originally planned to pick DD up tomorrow as someone who was going to give her a lift 2/3 of the way is off ill. It's so frustrating!! Ex has told her to get herself halfway. I am in the office tomorrow which takes me part way. I think Ex is dealing with her lifts next week though. The following two weeks I'm hoping her company are sorting her lifts out but who knows...
I feel behind on my PIP as I've been advised to shorten it and make the examples more closely tied back to criteria but not done that yet... Head feels fried today which doesn't help - and my sis offered amend it for me but then has struggled herself so has had to delay.
I've been procrastinating looking at holiday cottages and going ouch at the prices but strangely that hasn't moved me forward... It does look like I can go to a P Inn for about £45 for 1 room or double for 2 for when I go to HP World with DS. That's looking likely to be one of my cheapest options... I did look at tying the trip into to a cottage but the rates seem to go up dramatically further south so likely to be more affordable to separate the 2 things... I keep having to check travel times on google maps too as my grasp on geography is shall we say - poor!! I'm also debating whether to have a week away earlier than that - and just make that one a long weekend. It looks like I should get my backpay (not regrade yet) for last year's pay rise in April.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Cottages are nice, but don't rule out a week / short break in a caravan. I used to have a holiday down south, access to the beach, with good routes to other places for under £200.
Double check bank / school holidays to make sure your dates are not falling within them as that vastly increases costs.
Hope DD gets sorted out. Her company have been good at providing help.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -
Thanks MF.
Had really busy day today - was nice to have some social at work for a change (by going in). Also collected DD - about half an hour later than planned but still good.
My Sis is helping me amend my PIP form - but it's going to be a struggle to get it done on time. I want to post it tomorrow. It's due Tuesday. I skipped my balance class to answer extra questions from her. She's better at diagnosing / using the right terms than my GP was when I spoke to her! As a result of which I found a useful diagram that helped me understand one of my difficulties a lot better. Shows the important of visual information - and for me coloured diagrams - as otherwise it doesn't go in the same.
Money wise I'm inching towards pay day on Tuesday. I'm hoping to avoid a top up shop - or if I do spend - perhaps make it £10 worth. Today I raided the freezer rather than cooking. Thanks past self. Ideally I'd top up my fuel though just to lock in hopefully cheaper prices but didn't get around to it today.
I have however spent more than planned this month... My Am**** habit is potentially to blame and too much spend on eating out/days out... - and further exacerbated by car and roof bills. I'm roughly on track. I am very grateful for the £150 govt £ due to arrive in April - however I wouldn't need it so much if it wasn't for the NI rise so it is definitely an example of giving with one hand and taking more with the other.
I had thought BG were honouring their price until June but they sent me a letter saying they are not - and also that I can get a discount for paying by direct debit. I may look and see if there is anyone to switch to even if it is the same rates as they have been appalling to deal with and I still can't access my online account. I never got a reply from my MP letter either...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Can you use some flex to finish the form off or call and ask for an extension?
