Is there a special email address of just the customer service under refunds? Didnt realise about the 30 day price drop and a game and a couple of other bits have gone down by £19 - would be lovely if they refunded that as it would almost cover the £22 of bargains I bought tonight.

saw this and have treated my son to the ernie set, thank you. can put the trains in his stocking and then he will get the set from us later to put them on. done well with him as his birthday is on the 28th as well and got a half price bike from amazon last month after a tip on here!!

My little boy already has this, the set is huge (lots of pieces of track, figures, vehicles, village buildings, playmat) and has given him hours and hours of enjoyment

I've just emailed Amazon to claim on the Starscream toy. I paid £15.99, but now down to £8.18. Will I have to pay postage now, as before I qualified for the super saver?

For those who are asking about the Price Refund policy, this is from a post I made before that may help.

Just wanted to remind any new members that Amazon will refund the difference of an item bought from them (not third party sellers) if the price drops within 30 days. I can't find this published on their site, but I have successfully requested a refund on several occasions now.

If you have bought an item and the price has since decreased, try it!!

To do this, click on "Help".
Under the "Contact Us" section, click on the "Customer Service" button.
Use the "More Orders" link to find the order in question.

Click on "Contact Amazon" button.
Click the "Choose Order & Items" button.
Make sure you select "Returns and Refunds" from the drop-down menu.
Tick the item(s) you want a refund then type something similar to this:

"I bought the above item at a price of £xx.xx. I see the price has now decreased to £xx.xx. As this is withing the 30-day refund period, and in accordance with your terms and conditions, I would be grateful if you would be able to issue a refund for the difference of £x.xx. Regards, [name]"

I got about £16 back from one order, and have just done one for £5.

It seems a bit long winded, but it's worth it!

Emailed Amazon last night re 3 items that had dropped in price and already had an email back showing refund processed - fab service.

I order from Amazon at least twice a month and didnt know about the price drop policy so the £18 they have just refunded paid for the bulk of my £22 toy bargains I bought last night. This site is ace.

Wonder if more bargains will appear on the sale page or if thats it, I dont recall the items reduced last year as being as good or as cheap.
