*One thing to mention; I’ve noticed online that a lot of people seem to think the 12L or 20L stated is the size of the water collection tank. It isn’t. The tanks tend to be smaller i.e. 2-5L.
The 12/20L is amount of water possible to be extracted in a days use, IIRC.

Indeed. This is explained here under "Size or capacity" sub title: https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/dehumidifiers/article/how-to-buy-the-best-dehumidifier-ay5gu4q77WQN?source_code=Y21ADR&gclsrc=ds&gclsrc=ds#size-or-capacity

"....A dehumidifier's size or capacity describes how many litres of water it's able to extract from the air each day (which is different to the water tank capacity)..."

A dehumidifier is an easy solution to fight against extra humidity, mold, and moisture in houses and offices. It has become essential to maintain the good air quality in your rooms by growing pollution in the atmosphere.

Although it is a good choice to switch on a healthy lifestyle, some people get very disappointed because they get their hands on the wrong unit. It is due to the mistakes people make while buying a dehumidifier.

You should be aware of all of them so that you can make a better decision when you buy a dehumidifier to breathe better and healthier in your rooms. This is probably a balanced article that summarizes the arguments: on the  spamwebsite.com

If you like to buy British, then Ebac are manufactured in the NE

And prone to breakdowns.  I have one, but will go for a different manufacturer next time.

Had Ebac Powerpac since 2008 and is working fine, used mainly for drying laundry, would not be without a dehumidifier in winter months. Once had to send to maker while still under warranty for repair and was back with us a week later with Ebac arranging pick up and drop off by courier, so I could not fault the company.
