Cracked Quartz Worktop

Got an unsightly crack in my white worktop. The worktop is several years old & not covered by warranty.

The hairline crack needs cleaning out, its full of debris. I've tried Ciff & the Pink Stuff but no luck.  Any ideas what else I can use?

I've googled & websites suggest using epoxy, resin or superglue to seal the crack.

Many thanks

    A surface repair person.

They should be able to reseal the crack for you.  There's a franchise called Magic Man, but there will be random independents near you too.

I very much doubt that there's a cleaning product that will lift trapped dirt.  And it will only happen again immediately.

Do you need specialist tools to rake out the crack, plus a lot of skill, or can this be DIY'ed?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
  • Thank you, will try Magic man.

I googled for such companies in my area but barely any came up.  I contacted one (said they covered my area) but they didn't get back to me.

They will make the repair invisible.

I think you can buy kits as I've seen them being sold at trade fairs but the repair is probably cheaper.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • I know it's not the whole solution, but would a toothbrush and some floss help with clearing the debris?
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.
