A deduction after 7 months should be relatively minimal.

No, there is no updates available for it. Engineer confirmed it was on the latest update and I have auto updates off.0

Have a look at AV forums before buying .Sony LG and Samsung may be good overall , but individual models may not be as good .1

Once you've narrowed it down to some models I'd echo the comment above that the AVForums can be a good place to look but they tend to focus more on the mid-high range models and so info may be a little light if you're aiming below that.0
