WizzAir question

We are flying back to UK from FuerteVentra with WizzAir next week. Done online checkin and ended with a boarding card and we have to go to Wizz Air checkin desk at the airport to validate our documents and get our boarding passes.
Does this apply to all WizzAir flights? Maybe a covid documentation 'thing'?

This did not apply to the flights I took with Wizz before the pandemic. Yes, it could be where they check Covid documentation. It could also be an issue with this particular airport.

It didn't apply to flights to Poland last month, it did apply to flights to Ukraine in August and last week.
It also applied to the last 4 or 5 flights I've had to the UK with them.💙💛 💔1 -
Thanks for the reply.
Flying from FuerteVentra yesterday we had to join the queue for Check-In along with people checking luggage. The process was a little painful but eventually got there. Talking with people with small bags, no one could get a boarding pass in advance.
Once we got to the front of the queue, we needed to produce our 'boarding card' (Which states in bold capitals at the top 'NOT A BOARDING PASS'), passport, passenger locator and proof of vaccination. Delays came when people did not have the documentation ready.

Always.
I save the documents to a cloud storage in my phone as they are there when required in this case.
Not helped by many airports only having 1 or 2 desks per flight open, Luton in comparison (with Priority) is amazing experience.💙💛 💔0 -

As long as you have a phone 3/4/5G signal
