I logged in to Bank of Scotland this morning and there is a red banner about some transactions not being available - all my transactions are missing after 01 November and the balance is as it was on 01 November - it was fine yesterday.

I tried to telephone and they are 'particularly busy' with call wait times one hour.

Does anyone know what is wrong with Bank of Scotland on line banking at present at the present time as the website says 'try later'?

Thank you

  • Problems with Halifax reported elsewhere.
Two minutes ago I had "Unfortunately we can't retrieve the account information you've requested right now. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please try again later." when I've logged in to Lloyds.
    Seems to be LBG-wide problem.

I get the same message but I can still see my Halifax account. I wondered if they had decided they no longer wanted me as a customer and were closing my accounts but it sounds like that isn't the issue.

  • Thanks very much General_Grant.  I  was a bit worried because I had a 'Spam' call yesterday allegedly from Amazon, asking me to 'Press 1' if I had not made a recent transaction (over £150) yesterday.  I ignored the call and hung up but, now, 'coincidences' like this are a bit unnerving.

Same issue for me with my BoS accounts ... tried via website and Android app. A quick Google shows that there are (and have been recently) lots of issues with account access for all Lloyds Banking Group companies - so Lloyds, BoS, Halifax (and TSB?)

No idea on when it might be fixed - for the past couple of days they've reported it fixed each day but it hasn't been.

https://www.facebook.com/bankofscotland/ ... BoS Facebook page which shows others with the same issue

As I said in the other thread - almost ... I can't see my standing orders yet (but can see my DDs).

TSB no longer linked to the LBG infrastructure.
