Letter from Management Company about Implementing Parking Restrictions

There's no substitute for actually speaking to people. Knocking on doors. Yes, if no one answers, put the letter through, but I'd try chatting....

I agree with all your points*, and point 6 is the clincher ... make sure your notice makes it clear to the other property owners that their properties are likely to be devalued if such a scheme is introduced.
* Except point 5 ... the cost for the parking scheme will be low, or even free. The PPC makes their money from issuing PCNs - and the largest source of such income is from residents who already have a right to park. The main point I was trying to get across is that it's a count of eligible votes, not just votes cast.

Quick update - I have spoken to the management company and they said most of the replies they recieved were against it so she is fairly certain its not going ahead, she said they often send them out as 'threats' in the hope people will park better as they know most don't want restrictions.
Our road is adopted so they cant do much but the smaller roads are private and thus any restrictions would push cars onto our road so its not a win if they do it regardless.
She said it would be a third party but there would be no double yellows and no permits, more of a patrol to issue tickets if people were parking 'badly' (she mentioned cars on grass verges or over dropped kerbs etc) or people were using visitor bays for days on end when clearly no visitors.
Hopefully nothing comes of it but it sounds like a fair amount of people have responded against it anyway so they would have a hard time pushing it through.
Thanks all1 -
