Marbles Credit

I signed up with Marbles shortly before the lockdowns.
I’m a single mum on benefits, but at that time I had 6hrs pw work as well.
I was furloughed during the lockdowns, and lost the hours altogether earlier this year.
At every stage I’ve kept Marbles fully informed, and even needed to request a payment holiday at one point. But as I say, it was only ever a few hours a week anyway. My income was always mainly benefits.

During the furloughs, loss of hours, and financial problems I kept them fully informed of, they kept offering to increase my credit. They assured me I could afford it, and I was affording the payments.
Then a few months ago they sent me a letter saying because I was paying so little (it was what they requested each month), they classed me as ‘persistent debt’, and would be reporting it to credit agencies. Unless I paid more each month. Which was more than they’d ever asked me for, and more than I could afford, which they knew.
I submitted a complaint, which they acknowledged receipt of, several times over the past few months, but they still haven’t responded, four months later.
The Financial Ombudsman said they can’t do anything until Marbles have responded to me.
The FCA have said they can’t do anything, it needs to be the Ombudsman.
But in the meantime, Marbles hugely increased their payment demands, (£91 one month, then over £120 the following month, even though I was paying, and not using the card), beyond what I could possibly afford, starting sending default notices, and have just written to me saying they’re going to sell my account to a debt collection agency.
Surely this can’t be fair or reasonable?
