That I wouldn't have minded so much, but my email from Amazon included no such hints and the page on their website that I linked to included no such explanation either. So minus marks for Amazon.northwalesd said:The email I've received from Amazon is quite clear why theyre (potentially) doing it - ""due to the high fees Visa charges for processing credit card transactions."
As above, it might all be sorted before then.

Well, no. I certainly won't be giving Amazon any more insight into my financial life than they already have.The_Green_Hornet said:Or get an Amazon Mastercard?

The reason is irrelevant really, its the execution that is important (assuming it happens).squirrelpie said:

Thanks to you as well for pointing this out, but I just did another search and didn't see any relevant results.RG2015 said:

As somebody else pointed out, there is the section 75 protection for credit cards (and yes I sometimes do spend over £100 on Amazon). Also, giving them my debit card details exposes me to more varieties of hacking attacks against my bank account.born_again said:

Thanks, at last I can see them. Why doesn't the search facility return them, I wonder?emmajones1976 said:
