    Thanks @Aimingforthegoodlife :)

Pretty much committed to the mortgage increase now, the next BoE decision will be after the 14 day change period so it is what it is on the new payment front!

    June mortgage balance is £157,456.92

I managed to get an increase on my basic salary to £31.5k p/a (5% increase) which will help with the increased mortgage payments, but after a very long, 3 month break I'm having to take back up food deliveries on Just Eat/Uber just to ensure I keep on top of everything, as right now I feel like I'm running at 100% of my income on bills.

    Morning all,

Long time since my last update! Still not taken up doing deliveries again for extra income as I can't find the time, but I feel like I'm running at the limits of my current income all the time! Not falling behind though so for now it's all good.

    Mortgage balance is £156,338.89

Not much I can do in terms of money saving, everything is fixed and as low as I can find so I just have to plod on like the rest of us :-)

    Hi All  :)

Slipping on the updates but nothing to important to update just the usual mortgage balance which now stands at £155,807.73

I've received another pay rise this month, unexpected but very welcome taking me to £33,313 p/a so an 11.04% rise on the start of the year, with mileage this means my yearly is now approx. £36k p/a.

Still feeling the pinch especially around Christmas which is holding me back on making overpayments but hopefully we will see something happen in the new year.

    Enjoy Christmas/New year folks!

    Hi All,

    Longer days at last :)

    Mortgage balance is £155,005.65.

Having a bit of car trouble at the moment so no extra income from mileage, although enjoying the spare cash from not having to put in petrol every few days, I just wish I could put them towards an overpayment.

Trying to come up with a plan to pay down some existing credit card debt from renovating the house so we can try to enjoy a holiday this year, which would be our first in 8 years if we can!

Long time since I posted here!

    Mortgage balance is currently £153,926.14

My car troubles ended with returning it to the finance company, to many problems with it in a short space of time so we are now a 1 car household, to be honest it isn't to bad at the moment with it being summer and having a motorbike, not looking forward to being back on one in the winter though!

I'm not missing the mileage payments from work, if anything I think that it was costing me more than it was worth in overall servicing etc, commuting on my bike now costs ~£15 a week in petrol rather than £40-£60.

With the money saved from the car we have decided to book a holiday for next year, it could have gone on the mortgage but after what will be 9 years when we go away, and just 'paying bills to survive' we decided why not, you only live once!
