site registered 2 months ago. Unfortunately could be one of the many that pop up to cash in on Christmas sales then disappear
a few red flags here https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/electrifylux.com3 -
Was there any particular reason for not purchasing from Argos when the price was the same? Out of stock at Argos for instance.

TELLIT01 - yes Argos was out of stock, as it always seems to be. Also I received a tracking number for the item - Landmark Global partnered with Hermes here in the UK. It's being shipped from the US and is heading to Darlington. I can't find an address for the shipment. One things for sure, it ain't arriving to my house anytime soon!
This company, Electrifylux also trades as JuxoElectronics or JucoElectrics. No telephone numbers work and there are three different addresses across the UK.

The VAT ID number on their site is real
Registered business name
ELECTRONICS AND MORE LIMITED
Registered business address
30 WEBB AVENUE
SEAHAM
SR7 8JW
GBSo it's possible it's a dropshipper who's doing everything manually.Or it could be the site has simply stolen the VAT and LTD details from a genuine company.0 -
Its just a semi detached house .

Yes, that's how dropshipping works (if it is dropshipping rather than a scam). They don't actually hold any product, they just price their stuff at more than they can get it from another retailer (usually Amazon) and hope you don't realise. Then when the end customer orders it from the dropshipper, the dropshipper places an order with Amazon to be sent direct to the customer, and the difference is their profit.

That's not really how must dropshippers work as obviously that wouldn't generate many sales. Most of them are sourcing goods straight from the factories - usually in China. They're essentially setting themselves up as storefronts for the manufacturers.0
