I would class a car with someone it it as 'waiting' or.'loading', rather than being parked.
I woild not, unless you were really loading, but what were you loading? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -

I have just had my booster jab and still will not go into pubs1 -
Suspect if he want to scapegoat pubs again he will get a fair bit of resistance next time, but we shall see.0

This car park is controlled by anpr Parking Eye's favourite money spinner, it measures time on site, and a vehicle on site whether occupied or not will get a PCN for 35minutes that argument won't fly, unless it was broken down or a medical emergency maybe. Not checking for signs because you didn't think there would be any problem waiting in an "off street car park" is naive to say the least but maybe we are a lot more savvy on here seeing this sort of thing every day.The fact that the pub was not going to open for several hours makes it worse not better, and in many cases the contract with the parking company gives the landowner a small rake off for each paid up pcn or a restriction on the number of cancellations per month good luck with the manager on that but don't hold your breath.Any comparison with double yellow lines is a waste of time private parking and local authority parking don't tie up.You are left with the RedX' list but this is parking Eye and they will take it all the way.4

There have been a few pubs where I have driven there, got a taxi back being responsible and not drink driving and all that (plus spending more money and time in the pub) and then fetched my car back the following afternoon either getting back via public transport or cyclingFrom the Plain Language Commission:
