Please reinstate it.Snookie12cat said:
Sorry, I didn't do it for any malicious reason. Just didn't want anyone to maybe identify me from it. I like to delete my posts when I am happy with the answers I have had. No option to delete though.canaldumidi said:Snookie12Cat: just so you know, deleting your original post is poor forum etiquette and unfriendly.
The info is still there in the quotes, and there was nothing really identifying. Part of the 'deal' with getting advice on this forum is not to (intentionally or not) be rude to those who helped and potentially help others by leaving the full story there for future readers.

That is a malicious reason. The point of forums is exchanging information and getting helpful advice from others FOR FREE. Removing your post defeats the point.Snookie12cat said:

What you obviously wanted was personal advice. Like from a solicitor ironically.
If you delete your posts then people will stop helping you.3 -
I live in a mid terrace house.
The title deeds show right of access to pass along at the back of the house next door and up the side to the road.
There was no sign of this access when viewing and when we collected the keys on entry the outgoing owner asked us about it as their solicitor had mentioned but they knew nothing about it.
On examining the 6ft wooden fence installed there is the existing wire fence behind it and there is a gate in it to give access to next door. Despite living there w=for 6 years they had not been aware of it.
At some point it has been covered over probably because they never used it and secondly it passes right next to the back of next door's house so is a bot of an intrusion.
However, the original right of access is still there.
There is alternative access to the road along the bottom of the two houses on the other side of me.0
