Your situation will not change in the next four weeks, so you have nothing to worry about, and no one to contact.
Your DRO will complete as per normal.
You are seriously overthinking this, if you get the job, then your financial situation would not change until well after the DRO has completed, so its a non issue.
HMRC are inept at best, and they do not put two and two together like that, any change to your circumstances has to be self reported by you, as you are the debtor, not some random 3rd party, so relax.

Thanks so much for your reassuring reply, I should find out later today if I was successful but even if I’m not, it’s fine as it gave me confidence to go to an interview as haven’t worked in the last 4 years due to children at home but now it’s time to get back to it🤞🏻1

Hi Kaz,
I agree with above, a P45 that is not in the current tax year would not be of use to a new employer. They will add you to their payroll system and this will, sooner or later, generate a tax code for you via an automatic process. I cannot see how HMRC could inform your new employers you are coming to the end of a DRO, or would ever feel the need to, so I really do no think you have anything to worry about.
A DBS enhanced check will be done by the school if you are working with children. This is simply a police record check and asking the local police foce if you have ever been investigated, cautioned or interviewed (this is the enhanced bit). Debt is not a criminal offence, so will not show on either type of checks.
Good luck!1 -
Thanks for your reply! I was more worried hmrc would contact me to say if they can see I’m starting a job then il have to pay back the debt I owe them that’s in the DRO but luckily I found out the job starts in jan 2022 so my 12 months would of finished as that’s on 17th dec🎉🎉
thanks everyone!!!😊0
