With a Claim Issue Date of 13th December, you have until Tuesday 4th January to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 17th January 2022 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

    There you go @PurpleMystique.

Carry on here and find the Template defence, and show us your facts paragraphs 2 and 3 which is all you need to write from scratch.

But don't overlook the filing of an Acknowledgment of Service.
No thinking required. About ten minutes work.
  • Hello

I'm filing my AOS tomorrow, I plan to send it by post (first class to avoid delays in post due to bank holidays etc) and to email a copy too. I'm assuming this is acceptable? I'm not filing the financial details as stated in the newbies thread. Am I missing anything?

    Thanks in advance
  • PS: Im ticking I intent to defend all of this claim

Why on earth post the AOS when the NEWBIES thread shows you what to do, in step by step images, to do it online?

    Sorry, I don't understand.

On 18th December I wrote on your thread...
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

    On Boxing Day you responded...

Yet today you have decided to ignore that.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I'll leave you to it.
