Hello allNo test results yet, but no symptoms eitherVery early dog walk, as we went to a Sunday outdoor market / boot sale this morning. I wore a mask and kept apart from other people, just in case - not difficult as it is a big open air site, and it never gets really crowded. Bought bargainous butter and free range eggs. Also got a lovely russet coloured Seasalt Cornwall woollen coat in my size for £20, which was a real bargain, and a few little things to sell on. Spending diary and business records duly updated.I enjoyed my 6am dog walk in the dark, torch in hand, as the streets were totally deserted. Dog happened across a hedgehog, which I don't think he realised was a living animal, as it was curled up in a ball by someone's gateway. When he sniffed it, it sort of bristled its spines, which made him leap backwards in surprise
He very quickly decided that whatever it was, he was keeping well away from it.
Started updating my larder list, which is a real chore, as almost everything has to come out. Also, everything is not in the same place. Some of the preserves are not in the larder at all, but in a cupboard upstairs, and the spices I use most often are on a shelf in the kitchen. Made a makeshift clipboard from a table mat, some scrap paper and a bulldog clip, and scribbled as I went. Wiped the shelves down while I was at it. Now in the process of translating my scribbles to update the spreadsheet I keep for the purpose. This will hopefully inform my meal planning and shopping lists (which won't be very long ones, as there is masses there). Also made a loaf in the BMI have decided that the leftover chilli from yesterday will do for tomorrow (or possibly Tuesday when I am working all day), and I will make a mushroom risotto for tonight's dinner.1 -
