Morning folks
Quick check in... feeling pleased with myself - I went for an hour's walk after work last night
Will do a 20min walk at lunchtime today.
Today's small things:B/L/D from stores (grabbed soup, cheese and oatcakes for lunch instead of being tempted to buy!)
OH to do the housework
Sort budget sheet and set new SoM budget with OH this evening
Clean small bathroom
Lots of Christmas knitting
Have a good one all

Good work on the walking CLF - I've chosen to walk the last part of my commute today rather than using the bike, so that will net me some extra steps - I'll do my mile at lunchtime as usual, too.
Today I will:
- Check banking (Done, all as expected)
- Keep an eye on Prolific/OnePoll
- Do the YouGov survey that's sitting waiting for me
- Meals from plan - remembered to get stuff out last night for tea tonight
- Double check the "sorry you're leaving" letter from Shell re the broadband to make sure there is definitely no reference to returning the router
- Chase UW for a response re our missing money.
- Remember to do more instagram posting - the #ThrowbackThursday tag tends to be a good one, and also means I can get one more general shot in with the aviation stuff.
- WM to run overnight - probably with a mixed colours load, but possibly the rest of the bedding/towels
That will do - there will be odds and ends to get done at home tonight too, no doubt.
Happy Thursday!

Evening allNot much done today as I was in work for a large part of the day. Same again tomorrow, as another member of staff is off sick. I did a lateral flow test when I got in, as that is what you immediately think of, isn't it, if someone is ill. It was negative, thankfully, but I shall repeat it a couple of times over the next few days to make sure. We aren't all in together, but we work in pairs and sometimes overlap.Few small things:Washed hair with my seemingly everlasting shampoo bar and left it to dry naturally (OH walked the dog this morning as I wasn't going out with wet hair in chilly November!Used hot water from stove kettles saved overnight in flasks for this morning's washing up / work surface wipe down. I have 4 flasks, all different, all bought for pennies from car boot sales, that I use for this purpose.Took a cheese and chutney sandwich with me for lunch, no chance of getting away to buy anything anyway - as if I wouldMade a pineapple upside down cake for puddings for the next few days (very retro I know, but yummy!)Finished off the aubergine curry I made yesterday for dinner. No heating on still, but we do light the stove late afternoons / early evening. It is supposed to get colder at the weekend so may need to switch the CH on then.3

I have just paid my MBNA card off this morning. I now only have one last debt under my debt snowball now to clear, (the TSB card!) feels great getting rid of another debt doesn't it ! Just waiting for the payment to clear and then will call on Monday to cancel the card.
as for other small things today, its payday today for me, so have been sorting through and making the payments i need to as well as double checking the budget for the rest of the month.
I have also routed through the garage to see if i still have enough xmas gift wrap, tags, /cards etc left over from last year, so that i don't have to buy any this year which is a plus.
I also treated us last night (which only cost me £1) by using a £15 discount voucher code i had from Uber eats. I was able to place an order for 2 Toby Carverys to be delivered and only cost us the £1 delivery fee). It saved me on the electricity and effort of cooking and very little washing up lol

Afternoon folks
Well done to those who have paid off cards today
I was very good this morning and drove myself to the gym again, even after OH threw me under a bus by declining to come with me after saying last night that he would. My legs are very tired now!
Got to work to find that one of my bosses had bought me a mug as a gift and it;s very funny and very me
Small things today:B/L/D from stores. Threw together some beef, veg and salad last night for today's lunch and it was really tasty.
Attempt general preening for party tomorrow
See if I can adjust swimming costume to fit better. It's hard to get on as there's no give in the top of it and my torso and bottom are def not the same size!
Put loaf on before OH runs out of bread
Clean small bathroom
Meal plan/shopping list
Have a good one all

Evening allToday's small things:Covid tests
- lateral flow (immediate result, negative), and then a pcr, as advised by Track and Trace. A colleague from work has the virus and I was a contact
It seems I don't have to self isolate unless I get symptoms or my pcr comes back positive, as I am fully vaccinated. My poorly colleague is double jabbed though, and it didn't prevent her from getting it. She is ok though, I had a text from her today, and she is up and about, if feeling a bit off colour
Plenty of exercise today - dog walk, walked to the post box to post my pcr test, and then walked to work and back, as I had to fill in for a colleague for an hour as he was going for his booster covid jab. It was really busy too!DD and the little ones came round this afternoon. We made cakes, read stories and got all the toys out, and grandma is worn out now!Really could have done without cooking tonight, but OH and I chopped up all the stray veg, added them to a small pack of mince and made a chilli. Had that for dinner with yogurt, coriander and a few tortilla chips on the side. There is enough left over for another meal, too1
