What Small Things Will You Do This Week? 15/11/21

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

Today I have/will:
1. Checked online banking
2. Washed cats blankets, washed and disinfected all bowls/mats
3. Bought sweets in supermarket as going to Wales millennium centre tonight to see Everybody’s talking about Jamie.
4. Meals from stores
5. Duolingo
6. Must remember to charge phone as need to show COVID pass tonight and tickets are on my phone.
7. Paid all bills that needed to be paid today
8. Fixed cat tree, just needed all screws tightened (was convinced she would end up going through window) and washed with carpet washer

Morning Bagpuss - you're on it early this week, thanks for the thread! Hope your show this evening is good!
My stuff for today:
- check banks
- charge phone at work
- WM & DW will go on overnight
- meals as per plan
- remind MrEH he needs to do his CC transfer
My "one small thing" today will be to tidy and dust my bedside table.
Nothing much planned for the week this week until MrEH has an unusual Friday night rugby match - never seen them play under lights before - and far less photographed floodlit action, so this one might be interesting! Need to give some proper thought and really plan my camera kit and settings.

Evening folks
Been working like a trooper today - feeling quite pleased with my progress on this job.
Here's my small things:Heating set to 17.5 for abut 3 hours - just nice enough to take the cold edge off the air
B/L/D from stores. Decided to do a veggie shepherd's pie using our homegrown potatoes and squash.
Went to gym this morning
Should sort the budget sheet before SOM tomorrow
Bit of Christmas sock knitting this evening
Wash done at 30 deg - drying inside by the dehumidifier
OH working
Nipped to shop to buy OH's advent calendar fillers - that's my short walk for the day!
Have a good evening

Morning al!
MrEH is wfh today (he does 3 days at home, 2 in the office currently) so I will cycle back to the car at lunchtime and shift it to closer to the office - then head straight to the gym as he has rugby training tonight so that works well.
- banking checked and all OK
- meals from plan
- decision made as to what to do with my gym pass this month
- make time for some yoga tonight
- keep on top of OnePoll & Prolific
- "one small thing" = make a start on tidying my underwear drawer and sorting out "no longer required" bits.
- Load WM and set to run overnight🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
