    Two things

keep a diary of dates and times you’re woken up

secondly, any idea why the neighbour might be running taps in the middle of the night?

I’ve always lived in terraced houses so I’m in the habit of not flushing between midnight and 6am and washing my hands in cold water then too.

i wish everyone was as considerate as you teapot....come and live next to me....please!!!!
  • It might of have been mentioned, has the landlord offered any help ?

Sometimes neighbours pipes/plumbing etc can make impact on the party wall as well as noise. So two considerations.

Environmental health can be asked on what they can do.  Some councils have a 'noise recording diary sheet' template. You have probably been filling them in already.

Or consider a 'private nuisance action' really need legal advice on that.

i was grateful for the response when i came on here some time back...unlike people like yourself who probably come on here ten times a day, going over peoples past posts and making no more than unhelpful remarks.  There may have been somebody on this occasion reading who would know where i stand legally, etc......

i dont need to turn a major issue in my life into another one by coming on here.....
So instead of starting a new thread, simply post to your existing thread for further help. That way everyone could see what hd been posted before an save any duplication. It's basic forum etiquette.
