How long does emulsion take to fully dry and harden?
I have painted my room in Johnstones trade acrylic durable Matt paint over a week ago.
Today I applied some frog tape delicate and the paint is peeling off.

It should take 4 to 6 hours to be dry, maybe 24 to be fully hardened. It sounds as though you have other adhesion issues that time isn't going to help2

So why would there be adhesion problems?0

What did you paint over?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

It was freshly plastered wall which was done about 8 weeks ago.
I then painted 2 mist coats of Leyland trade emulsion paint.
And then finally 2 coats of the Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Durable Matt.

Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.1 -
The emulsion has come off because the plaster has not been sealed. I always use Zinsser bulleye 123 to seal walls & never had a problem. I would sand down the walls to get all the loose paint then seal it then repaint.

I do feel your pain though. We've just had a wall plastered and having issues with paint peeling. I'm just trying zinsser no peel to see if that helps with stopping it.0 -
