Vodafone Broadband - New Customer Offer

I am thinking that if I cancel my existing contract and sign up for a new one using my partner's details / bank account, she should qualify as a "new customer".
Has anyone tried this before and been successful in receiving the bonus? Can anyone see anything in the T&C's that would suggest that this might be rejected?
Hoping someone can help with this! Thanks in advance.

Hi @jw85_123 ,
We've seen numerous posts on this in the past.
Some posters have reporting that you could have your line completely disconnected as it'll think you're leaving the property. This could leave you without broadband for longer than you'd usually expect when you sign up again with your partners details as it's not just a straight switch. Others have reported even being given new phone numbers as you're not porting your current one when you cancel.
You could try haggling with Vodafone. This might not get you the £100 voucher, but you could still potentially save on your monthly cost.
I hope this helps,
MSE Laura F
