Parking fine

Hi people hope your well i went to b&m to do abit of shopping last month and just got a parking fine from smart parking for 60 pound for parking in b&m carpark only stayed 15 minutes they got pics of my car entering and leaving not sure what to do ? Iv been a couple of times too without realising so expecting another 🙄any help would be great and apologies if this gets asked alot 😔

It does get asked a lot

1) do not reveal who was driving , not to anyone

2) follow plan A in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in the announcements section

Meaning complain to b & m as keeper , plus also to the retail park management or landowner

3) use the blue text template from the newbies FAQ sticky thread to appeal as keeper , no dobbing in the driver , because smart probably failed to comply with POFA ( the law )

Check the NTK PCN for POFA compliance , or not

After the above , it would be Popla , then debt collector letters if you lose , then civil court within 6 years

So try for an early cancellation , no stories about what happened

Thanks just 1, more thing I didn't pay for a ticket or anything cos I just thought it was a normal car park just drove in did my shop and drove out on there 15 mins will that template still work if I didn't get a ticket in the carpark?

It always works v Smart Parking, as long as you don't say who was driving and then at POPLA stage, you copy any other Smart POPLA appeal you find from recent months/year, that talks about the POFA 2012 and the fact they can't hold a keeper liable 

Dead easy.  You can't lose as long as you don't go writing your own stuff about driving or ticking a 'driver' box.

You don't need to complain to the retailer as it's so simple to win on appeal.  Read the NEWBIES thread, it explains.
