New gas connection

How did you guys get on? I had the same thing with my mum who had gas connected late November. Scottish Power were the only one I found willing to fit a better which they did on 2nd Dec. They said I'd have to arrange the tariff after the meter was fitted, but on their "get a quote" bit online, it still shows the property as having electricity only. I probably ought to call them but calling a utility company usually leads to a huge loss of time and a huge increase in stress! Anyway, my mum's got gas but we just don't know who to pay for it or how much they'll charge!0
