Been out at the SA welcoming/making tea & coffee and serving dinner/pudding. Oldest lady there is 91. So much washing up to do - no space for a dishwasher in the kitchen.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Just a quickie ....
Nanny window....it was me with a hospital appointment...it wasn't very pleasant but didn't last too long...the wander round shops was nice though! I was good and didn't buy much. I did find little one 2 pairs of pyjamas with penguin designs on for 50p each in a charity shop - and a top for myself for £1. My train home had been cancelled, but there was one due in which was running an hour later so I got on that one instead. It was a very quiet train. It was a lovely sunny day in Newcastle - really pleasant to walk around in.
Well I'm going to wash up and then have a nice bath x11 -
A very, very longtime lurker here - I do read every day!
I just wanted to say to Gers and Bella that you've been a massive help and inspiration to me. I lost my dad in March, and then my mum in September. It's been so much to take in and now such a lot to do to clear the house, and in between this apparently I had a birthday ending in a 0 though I haven't actually celebrated yet!
Funnily enough I had a call from bereavement services today to see if I wanted some counselling. After seeing what people said I've agreed to see someone, I think it may be good to speak to someone who doesn't know me if that's understandable?
Anyway, I send hugs to all who need x12
