Money Moral Dilemma: Should I keep the money I found at work?

    I'd hand it in at reception. Depends on them how they handle it. You're obviously feeling iffy about just keeping it so follow your conscience.

    When I was a teenager, I found £30 on a bus. Gave it to the conductor and he smiled and just pocketed it.

    A few years later at college, I lost my wallet with £120 in it just before I was due to go the bank later in the day. The wallet was returned to lost property but without the £120.

    Since then, whenever I have found cash myself which has been on at least two separate occasions, I have pocketed it rather worrying about the owner.

    However I have also found a wallet where the owner is easily identifiable, in those circumstances, I hand it in with all the contents.
